04:56 am!

I will first tell you the most interesting part of this night!

I am sitting outside a bar at 1:15 am in the morning, quite typsy! I am sitting on the pavement, in Padmavasana pose. And in front of me there is this beautiful girl sitting in front of me, looking right into my eyes! He has brownish eyes. Dark black pupil! Very large! Like trying to receive every visible particle around. Deep!

She has beautiful eyes! And her face like the one you would like to see every morning when you wake up! So charming, so bright!

She held my hands, and apologized for the ways she challenged my believes of my life by asking me why would you believe that? It certainly gave me a significant doubt that I asked myself that question!

And while apologizing, she kisses both my hands, gently on the knuckles, one after one, and it shattered me into pieces!

That was the most amazing moment of tonight.

It was a long night! Very Loooong night!

I had my first drink at 8:15 pm, which was offered by a dude, who met me at the bar, when I was going to the bar, to buy a drink for Myself! My mates where on the way to this place where we about to meet, and I arrived first, I was just buying drink for myself! So had that drink, paid for it, and went out to smoke! I was there alone, rolled my cigarette, lighted it, and started smoking it.

A girl comes out of the same bar, white, beautiful, very nice figure, black hair, cool jacket, skin tight denim, nice boots, lights a cigarette, smile on my face, takes out her iPhone, *sigh*

Diverting my mind to other things I have to do very soon, reminding myself about important things. Need to apply for Malaysian and NZ visa, Plan NZ trip, book remaining flight and accommodation for next trip, buy a cycle, buy a motorbike, apply for driving licence, do to IKEA for small table and bed side table for my room. Ahh.. so many things to do!

Suddenly I see her coming towards me and she casually said to me, "I just came here to give you company in smoking." That was cool! "Thanks! It's nice to have a company while smoking! (gentle smile)"  And then we started talking... She told me how much she hates Canberra in Winter, and how much she loves it on Summer. How excited she is that Summer is coming. She came out tonight with her office friends and her Bestie! How she is feeling good to having time of her own, being a mother of two kids. She showed her two years old son and four years old daughter's photos. How she's enjoying the smoke tonight because she can't have a smoke in front of the kids, being a responsible mother. We had a good chat and then she went back to join her friends and I went to join mine.

We had couple of drinks there and then we went out to grab some food. And we had a hilarious conversation. I would prefer to skip this part. And the move to the next pub.

It was more like a night club. We had couple of drink. Hot girls! People making out once in a while. Nice music and a pretty good bar. I went out for a smoke alone this time and few fraction seconds after I opened the door to go out, Arnie joined me. We went out and I started rolling a cigarette. He said, "Stop smoking Vivek! You know that you want to smoke. Pot is okay some times but stop smoking tobacco. This, right this moment, is addiction!"

I couldn't defend myself. It was such a fucking truth! And then suddenly the conversion changed to Indian Ocean. I started telling Arnie about this amazing band and how they formed. Those two pioneers of the band, the guitarist and the table player, Sushmit Sen and Asheem Chakravarty. And I told him that Sushmit Sen's guitar playing form is recognized as a unique form, which is played only by him on the planet. At this time we were standing on the pavement outside the bar. There was a big parasol, and on the foot of it, there was a girl, tipsy, suddenly she turned towards me and asked, "What form of playing guitar?".

Me: A form which is played by this guy in the band Indian Ocean.
Her: Which guy
Me: Sushmit Sen
Her: I haven't heard him before.
Me: I am not surprised! Lots of people haven't.

And then the conversation went on, she asked me several questions which actually challenged the words which came out of my mouth few seconds ago.

She was so humble an lovely that she kissed both my hands, gently on knuckles, one by one, and apologized for being rude. And I shattered into pieces.

Later her husband joined us as well. He is from Agentina, where they met! She said she's Australian, but I don't believe that. I believe she's somewhere from Europe. He had a very rich conversation about music and each other's thinking and perceptions about things. How we felt about things happening in this world.

Much later, we waved the beautiful couple and their funny buddy Goodbye.

Had a pretty good night with the new buddies in Canberra. Had fun! Got some memorable moments.

Time to sleep!

Kodachadri Trek

Mountains call you when you need to heal yourself. When you think about your life, and don't understand what to do, mountains help you realize that how tiny you are in front of this universe, how small you lifespan is! It makes you forget the unimportant things and events of life and makes you more focused, determined and oriented. I need to go the mountains, I was missing them badly!

Early morning foggy road. Around 20 km away from homestay. We stopped so that the driver can wake up from his nap!

The trek was followed by a crazy ride in the Jeep! The time passed by shouting, singing Pink Flyod and GnR songs. Looking at the stars while hanging at the back of the jeep was amazing.
After delicious dinner at the homestay (bhajjis were the best) we sat down at the camp fire. The night progressed with singing songs, then horror stories and finally Anushka's birthday celebration!

Day-2: Nagara Fort

Yoga Gurus

After visiting the fort, the journey back to Bangalore was full of fun! Nice lunch at Shimoga, sharing stories, ice cream, Mafia and the crazy dance in the bus! End of another weekend!
